So I really want to write something that is deep, thoughtful and very meaningful....but nothing is coming to mind. I want this blog to mean something to people. Well to the few that read it and I can not think of one thing. I could write about how I love the book Hebrews in the Bible. I could talk for hours and hours on how I love my church.
The funny thing is...as I am writing this I came up with something to talk about. Isaiah 1:18
The verse goes like this:
"Come know let us reason together," says the Lord "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."
I love that verse! I love that it says that know matter what you have done you are always able to be washed clean! You are able to be forgiven! No matter what. And Jesus is saying this.
The fact is everyone has sinned. The bible says in Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
This means we all have made mistakes. Guess what no ones is perfect! We all make mistakes! And I can sure say I am glad to know that I am not the only imperfect person out there.
Here is the next shocker all sin to God is the same. This means the little child that tell his mom he did not eat the last cookie fib...is the same as Mary Bell the 10 year old killer. Believe it, even though it is a huge diffrence its true. My sin is just as bad as a gang members or a murder or a thief or a drug dealer. ALL SINS ARE THE SAME! Are you getting the point yet because I am sure I could go on with all these diffrent exmples.
What I am trying to say is that no man is better then another. Every man's sins are equal no sin greater then another. All sins are able to be forgiven if we lay them down at the alter. No sin is to great to ever be forgiven and it is never to late to be forgive.
Call on God and He will answer you He will be with you in trouble. He is always there and will never leave.
This is super great news!!!! All you have to do is repent, tell God you are truly sorry and mean it with your whole heart and you will be forgiven. Easy as that.
Well I felt like i should say that and I did. :)
Think about the words that were writen. They do mean something. And there is a loving God with arms wide open waiting for you.
Love and Blessings
